Palo Santo – Holy Wood by saba™ aromatics
The wood of the Bursera graveolens is called Palo Santo (holy wood). It is mostly found in Mexico, the Yucatán Peninsula, Peru and Venezuela, where it has been used for thousands of years. When the wooden sticks burn up, the characteristic intense scent of the resin develops: aromatic, woody with a slight sweetness and a hint of lemon. To do this, light one end of a stick and let it burn until some embers can be seen. Often the resin that is becoming liquid is then also recognizable. Wave or blow out the flame again and walk through the room you want to scent with the smoking Palo Santo. Then place the stick in a fireproof bowl and let it glow.
This Palo Santo wood is of the highest quality. Sustainably harvested with respect for culture and people.
