Smell: leather accord offers soft and enveloping notes typical of suede, with musky, woody and balsamic hints.
Origin: the history of Tuscany leather dates back to 1282, when the art of tanner, called Cuoiai or Galigai in Italian, was born. At the beginning the tanning was carried out downstream of Ponte Vecchio, letting the leather soak into the Arno’s riverbed. In the sixteenth century this art reached the highest peak from a qualitative point of view, making Florence the seat of the University of the masters of leathermaking, renowned worldwide.
