Botanical origin / occurrence
Several types of roses, especially "Rosa centifolia" and "Rosa damascena". Botanically, the rose belongs to the Rosaceae. The flowers used for oil production are cultivated in France, Italy, Morocco, Bulgaria and Turkey.

Extraction
By steam distillation from the petals, which are picked by hand.

Yield
0.02 - 0.05 percent.

Fragrance
Full rose fragrance with a tea and honey note as well as a soft green top note.

Use
Is mainly used in extraits.
